We are a small-town fitness center with everything you need for a good workout. From exercise equipment, to well-qualified fitness instructors and trainers, to a clean and comfortable atmosphere, we have what you need to make your fitness and athletic goals a reality.

Our membership plans range from one day to one year, so whether you are just visiting or looking for a place to work out on a regular basis, Rudy’s can accommodate you. We have special senior discounts, as well as special plans for those who only want to take fitness classes taught by instructors.

JOY SPERRY-MELVIN

Joy Sperry-Melvin

Manager of Peak Fitness, MES( Medical Exercise Specialist), Personal Trainer.  Joy assists in bridging the gap between healthcare (Physical therapy) and physical fitness. Joy is a certified health/life coach.  Her role is to assist clients with total body transformation through “true habit” and implement strategies, action plans to get your body in an optimal state of healing. She is here to motivate and help clients pursue a healthy lifestyle. Joy provides coaching in health and wellness, careers, relationships, finance, and something greater (spirituality). In her spare time she enjoys getting outdoors hiking, fishing, and spending time with her dog Missy Moo.

Yadi Spangenberg

Yadi Spangenberg

Wife, Mom of 4 kids, 2 dogs and 31 chickens! Born and raised throughout Europe, came to the US for college, met her Idaho native husband on the Payette River and never left! She loves the outdoors, playing with her family and helping others achieve their goals. Each season in McCall brings many outdoors pursuits, some of her favorite being backcountry snowboarding, mountain biking, surfing the river with her kids, trail running her dogs and morel picking.

Kristina Dobler

Kristina Dobler
Kristina is an empty nester now and just recently moved to McCall in May!  She has a passion for nutrition, health and wellness and loves to encourage others to push beyond their “comfort“ levels.  Kristina has a BS in Physical Therapy and has been teaching group fitness classes for over 25 years. In Addition to her own wellness business, she teaches Spin , Bootcamp, Pilates and Yoga.  She enjoys travel, running, hiking, biking and basically anything outdoors! Kristina is a big fan of ice cream, not a fan of burpees.

Lisa Marie

Lisa has been an active athlete from middle school, through college, running at Western State College, NCAA National Champions cross country team in 2001, and track team in 2000 – 2002, and also on Oregon State Crew team in 1998. She moved to McCall in 2013 to share the love of Pilates – Mindful movement and enjoy the amazing Idaho outdoors. She is a Certified Balanced Body/Physical Mind Pilates Apparatus and Mat Instructor Ace Personal Trainer since 2004, and Whitewater kayak instructor. Lisa Marie has worked with clients with back pain, shoulder impingements, knee-hip replacements, and pre and post prenatal. (Pre or Post rehab).

Jane Wurster

Certified Yoga Instructor, TRX Suspension Trainer, Studio Cycling Instructor, Step Aerobics and Group Exercise Instructor. Jane and her husband Steve Wurster have hiked, biked, climbed, and skied in North America, South America, Asia, Europe, Africa and Australia. Her friends get to travel vicariously through her fabulous photos.

Julie Wardle

Julie has lived most of her life in Shanghai China! Her family moved here 4 years ago. She has an amazing husband and 5 kids! She has always loved the outdoors and doing different activities! But after #5, she lost her way! She was 50 lbs. overweight and had no energy! Then she found ZUMBA! She lost 50 lbs dancing her heart out! She am now licensed in Zumba and HIIT with boxing techniques!

Katie Patterson

She discovered yoga through a small home studio in Missoula Montana 12 years ago. She initially went to support a friend, viewing yoga as a stretching class for hippies, she never considered yoga would have anything to offer her personally. At the time she was a wildland firefighter on a HOTSHOT crew. Intense work & intense fitness were her life.

After just a few sessions, yoga had her attention. Not only did she break a sweat, it did wonders for restoring her old injuries, she had better balance, her mental state was more clear; all of which crossed over ten fold to her work as a HOTSHOT. She could see the benefits of a consistent practice stacking up and she was hooked.

She became a twice daily practitioner and it wasn’t long before she knew she needed to be a teacher.

Helping people become the best versions of themselves through fitness, nutrition, and positive mindset has always been a passion of hers, and yoga was just the thing she was looking for to make that passion a reality long term.

She became certified in Hatha yoga with an emphasis on Bikram Method Hot Yoga in 2012. She’s taught in several studios and countless outdoor classes all over Northern California, and have finally landed in her new home studio here at Peak Fitness.

Katie and her husband transferred to McCall several years ago to be closer to their families and have never looked back! From skiing, to hiking, to the morrels, huckleberries, and lakeside yoga sessions, she believes McCall is truly is paradise.

In the fall of 2020 she became certified in prenatal/postnatal & trauma informed yoga to support her own pregnancy. She is a new mama to a 4 month old boy, Bodhi. This new certification in addition to her previous training, has given her a very broad platform from which to teach.

Her classes range from traditional Bikram Method, to free flowing Hatha, to fully restorative. She enjoys catering her classes to the individuals who come and is always looking for ways to accommodate every student’s personal practice.
